Micromeritics' DataMaster version 4.00 software continues to report BET and Langmuir surface area, Freundlich and Temkin isotherm models, alpha-s and f-Ratio plots, heat of adsorption, and BJH mesopore structure. Micropore structure is determined by t-Plot, MP Method, Dubinin-Ashtakov, Horvath-Kawazoe, and Dubinin-Radushkevich methods. New features include reporting and display of absolute pressure on the X-axis. BJH pore size distribution now can be calculated by three models: classic BJH calculations, Kruk-Jaroniec-Sayari correction to the Kelvin equation and by Faas correction for thickness curves. Density functional theory models have been integrated into the DataMaster application. DataMaster allows multiple sets of sample data from the same or different Micromeritics instruments to be overlaid on the same graph. Data reduction can be performed on computers other than the one controlling the instrument, in a remote office or other location, using data stored on a disk or network. The user-friendly report generation software permits the user to insert corporate logos for display on reports. Once reports are generated, they may be exported to text or Excel file format. Tables can be copied to the clipboard, and graphs can be easily saved in Windows Metafile format or using the cut-and-paste feature for inclusion in presentations and reports.
