New DataMasterTM Software Offers Enhanced Reporting - 7/17/2003
Micromeritics releases version 3.00 of DataMaster software. DataMaster can be used to generate classical or micropore data reductions with data collected from any of Micromeritics’ gas adsorption analyzers. Version 3.00 has enhanced report presentation and added data reduction options.
DataMaster generates reports such as BET and Langmuir surface area, BJH mesopore structure, and micropore structure by t-Plot, MP Method, Dubinin-Ashtakov, Horvath-Kawazoe, and Dubinin-Radushkevich. Included with version 3.00 are Freundlich and Temkin isotherm models, alpha-s, f-Ratio plots, and distribution of Heat of Adsorption as a function of coverage. BET and Langmuir isotherm models can now be plotted with experimental isotherm data to evaluate how closely the experimental data fit the model.
User-defined thickness curves are now available for the carbon black STSA, Broekhoff-de Boer, and the t-Plot report. Thickness curves and alpha-s curves can be produced from experimental data as well.
DataMaster facilitates comparing and analyzing data from the same or different instruments by permitting the user to overlay this information on the same graph. Data reduction can be performed on computers other than the one controlling the instrument, in a remote office or other location, using data stored on a disk or network.
The user friendly report generation software permits the user to insert corporate logos for display on reports. Once reports are generated, they may be exported to text or Excel file format. Graphs can be easily saved in Windows Metafile format for simple import to presentations.
