Kara Bailey, BS.
MLC Training Coordinator
Mrs. Bailey received her B.S. degree in biology and psychology from the University of Georgia in 2011.
She began her career at Micromeritics Instrument Corporation as an analyst in the contract lab services group in 2014. She gained proficiency in a variety of material characterization techniques that include surface area, density, porosity, particle size and particle concentration. Her primary responsibilities were reviewing data and operating the TriStar, Gemini, ASAP series, 3Flex, Saturn DigiSizer, and SediGraph.
Throughout her time in the contract lab, Mrs. Bailey trained many laboratory personnel on these instruments. This experience along with her strong organizational skills prepared her for the transition into the role of training coordinator within the Scientific Services group.
