Calibration and Repair Services

Micromeritics offers a full range of instrument installation, preventive maintenance and repair services to support instruments through their full life cycle. On-site and factory services are provided through our global network of factory trained and certified service engineers. The service team also works closely with the Micromeritics applications, engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure our customers’ questions are addressed and potential challenges resolved.

For organizations with strict quality requirements, our MIC-9000 Preventive Maintenance process will maximize instrument reliability and ensure the accuracy, repeatability and integrity of results while complying with ISO 9001 and similar standards. Micromeritics also offers formal Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) services to ensure instruments are correctly installed and operate according to specifications. For organizations that do not require ISO-level documentation, we also offer a standard Preventive Maintenance service.

Service Plans

With over 10,000 installations worldwide, and over 50 years of providing service, we know that service plans provide the benefits of having well-trained users, improved instrument performance, increased uptime, and reduced cost of ownership. All plans provide repair, labor, and travel coverage with priority response. Our Premium plans include 1 Preventive Maintenance visit per year performed by our factory-trained and certified global network of service engineers.

Premium

This all-inclusive plan is designed to maximize the potential of your instrument. This comprehensive plan covers all travel, labor, and repair parts. Plan owners receive priority response, 10% off all consumable items for covered instruments, and one preventive maintenance visit per year performed by Micromeritics certified engineers.

Premium +

This plan is identical to the Premium Service Plan but is available only for new instruments at the time of purchase, or prior to the end of the warranty period. With a built-in discount, users can renew annually at a modest subscription fee for uninterrupted coverage.

Repair Protection

With complete repair coverage, this plan protects from unexpected expenses related to breakdowns. Plan owners are also entitled to priority response, and savings through a consumables discount.

Academic Assistance Plan

This collaborative service plan extends our partnership with academic customers with protection from unplanned downtime and repair expenses. Our experts will remotely support with troubleshooting and repair instruction, with travel onsite if deemed necessary. This efficient plan will ensure the success of students with instrument uptime.
